OWNER’S PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Matt Doyle managed the $15.5 million renovation of Holiday Inn Express Boston across 2017 and 2018, overseeing a 174-room, 7-floor asset across 90,083 square feet in Dorchester. The project required coordination of guest room finishes, refresh of public spaces including the breakfast area and fitness center, upgrade of the 3,000-square-foot conference facilities, and MEP system modernization across the full hotel footprint. Matt managed construction phasing to minimize occupancy disruption, sequenced room renovations by floor, and coordinated with IHG brand standards to maintain operational continuity. The project delivered refreshed interiors, upgraded technology infrastructure, and enhanced meeting and fitness amenities. Final asset: a mid-scale corporate hotel with high occupancy rates and elevated guest satisfaction metrics.
